Electric current

Electric Current  is the flow of free electrons through a conductor or semiconductor in one direction, its unit of measurement being the ampere (A).

Just as there are direct or alternating voltages, electric current can also be direct or alternating and that depends on the type of voltage that is used to generate these current flows.

Electric resistance

It is the physical property by which materials tend to oppose the flow of current and its unit of measurement is the ohm (Ω).

The inverse property of resistance is electrical conductance.
