Bid security - for contract bidding you are required 2% - 10% of the amount of bid equivalent amount . The bid security is directly transfred and can be claimed anytime as stated in the forms .
Bid Bond - is almost same as bid security but there is a middle company to mediate and the secured amount will be paid after.(not immediate)
Performance bonds- for Contract performance assurance ,after contract is signed 10% of the contract.
